Mechanical Engineer : No of Positions - 3

• Qualification : 
  * An Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering would be a plus.
  * Specialization in a related field would be preferred (i.e., mechanical or industrial repair)
  * Need experience / ability to get dirty as the production environment is dirty / dusty
  * This is not a Green Job
  * This is not a 'Keystone Works Program' related job 
  
  Experience : 4-7 years experience in 
  * Have a good understanding of tool room equipment, operations associated with drilling, milling, surface grinding, and lathe operations
  * Experience in maintaining mechanical drives, hydrostatic/hydrodynamic lubrication systems, spindle repair, and basic welding
  * Experience in grinding machines and grinding operations.
  * Must have good verbal communication skills, with Customers and with technical personnel at manufacturing sites in Italy.
  * Must be available for travel within India and also abroad.
  * Must be a proven self-starter with a willingness to work in a team environment.
  * Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and email.
  
  OTHER WORK Needs
  * Employees in this position must be able to lift up 15 Kgs frequently and 30 Kgs or more infrequently with assistance; employees 
     must be able to wear hearing protection, interpret information by using visual acuity, hearing and speaking, gross and fine motor skills;
  * Work eight hours or more frequently and work rotating shifts and weekends if required.
  * The nature of work in this area is not conducive for individuals with respiratory conditions 
  

•  Job Role
  
  * Support the production operation of our Customers by providing rapid response to all breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime
  * Travel on short notice to Customer's sites following Company policies for travel, lodging and reporting.
  * Troubleshoot and perform all required mechanical maintenance on automated equipment.
  * Perform any minor electrical work which may be required.
  * Lockout equipment to be maintained and follow Company's safety practices and procedures. 
  * Fulfill training programs by Customer as necessary to gain access to their Sites and follow their requirements thoroughly.
  * Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as required by PM Contracts.
  * Ability to utilize EOT cranes , Fork lifts
